Here is his story:
My name is Roscoe.. At just 16weeks old and weeks of ongoing tests, the 21/04/2015 was when my familys world fell apart i was diagnosed with infant acute lymphoblastic leukemia! I did 9 months in hospital with my mommy by my side every step of the way! I had to undergo several rounds of intense chemotherapy, biopsys, lumbar punctures, bone marrows aspirates and many many scans! My mommy and daddy were told at the beginning that i only had a 20% chance survival but i proved everyone wrong i did it and celebrated my first birthday 1/12/15 i was in hospital but that didnt matter i had my family round me and the ward even threw me a party! On the 3/1/2016 i was formally discharged from hospital…. Yayyy my life could get back to normal with my daddy and my 3 older brothers who i missed dearly….. I had been in remission for 8 months then bamm….. 2nd september 2016 tests revealed i had relapsed but this time it was in my central nervous system and was putting pressure on my cranium which had moved slightly which caused my left eye to turn in towards my nose! So now im a 21 month old baby boy battling cancer for a second time, only difference this time is that i need a transplant…. Im now due to be admitted to birmingham childrens hospital on the 4/12/2016 to start my chemo conditioning which is going to strip my immune system… I have my transplant on the 16/12/2016 i will be in there for christmas and new year which means i have to spend it away from my brothers and my daddy! On day 11 post transplant my bloods started to rise on their own which meant the transplant was now starting to take effect.. All through my journey i have continued to have a smile on my face! Beat all odds im still a happy little boy! Also i have now had the news i am fully tell recovered so i can now live my life as a normal 2 year old would I can go anywhere now no restrictions! Yeeeeyyyyyyyyy….
But then ….Not good news…… Mommy had a call from the hospital today 31/03/2017 saying i needed to go up for repeat blood tests! Mommy knew there was something wrong as they asked for daddy to come too…… We got there and were told the devastating news i had relapsed again in my spinal fluid,as i have had all the best possible things my only option left at the minute is to have lumbar puncture with triple intrethecal (chemo) once a week untill i get 2 clear results back then it can move to monthly! But Doctors say my cancer is now incurable. So now im a 28 month old baby boy who is battling cancer for a third time round! But i will stand up to cancer and continue to kick its ass! #standuptocancer
